It has definitely been a while since my last report. I was booked solid all through the month of July, so I haven't had a chance to update my report. The fishing has been pretty steady in and around the Sebastian Inlet this month. The snook are schooled up all through the inlet around both the north and south jetties. We've been catching them on live greenies pilchards and croakers. The jacks are pretty much like shooting fish in a barrel because they are everywhere and the bite is nonstop inside the inlet.
I have been taking most of my charters nearshore and offshore this month with the seas being so calm. There were plenty of tarpon and sharks to keep us busy nearshore along the beaches from Sebastian south to Vero Beach. Offshore we have had some unbelievable action. We are catching plenty of snapper anywhere from 40 to 90ft. We are getting lots of muttons and mangroves free lining cut bait as they come up to the chum. The cobia and kingfish are super thick right now as well. We have been catching the king fish and cobia both by trolling live baits as well as anchored up on flat lines off the back of a chum slick. This includes the July fishing report thank you to everybody that booked a trip with me this month
